Position Summary
Houston Christian University seeks an Adjunct Professor to join the Department of Music with expertise lecturing in Music Theory.
Job Status - Exempt
Reports to - the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities
Job Responsibilities
- Teach courses in undergraduate Music Theory, Sight-Singing, and Aural Training.
- Other duties may include teaching additional classes depending on skills and specializations.
Qualifications
- MM, DMA, or PhD in Music Theory.
- Ability to teach courses in music from a Christian worldview and demonstrate enthusiasm for our classical liberal arts core curriculum.
