We have an opening with an entertainment giant in Bristol, CT for a Music Assistant. This assignment is fully remote – must be local in the Bristol, CT area. There is a possibility of overtime as needed, but not guaranteed.
MUST HAVES: Excellent communication skills, team player, proactive, excellent time management skills, exceptional ability to prioritize by importance of work, flexible, attention to detail as you will be working with legal information on music being used.

Description:
- Work closely with the staff on the music cue sheet management process.
- Involved with review, update, and approval of music cue sheet reports, tracking and organizing of submitted cue sheets for compliance reporting.
- Work under the direction of the Music Licensing and Music Operations Supervisors to support the approval of music cue sheets submitted to the database and assist in cue sheet reporting to track compliance for all sports networks.
- Handle the update of music data to the cue sheet management system, as well as the distribution and handling of cue sheets to licensors.
- Track television programming on affiliate networks and submit cue sheets to those networks and/or our Publishing Administrator.
- Assist the Coordinating Director of Music, Sr. Music Licensing Coordinator, and Music Licensing Coordinator in the preparation, filing, coordination, and organization of music licenses and related documentation.
- Assist Music Directors and Coordinators with other music-related projects and tasks, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize projects based on time and resources available.
- Demonstrated high organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of both Mac and PC operating systems, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, or similar applications.
- Minimum of 2 years of college with some professional experience or understanding related to broadcast, technical operations, library science, or music backgrounds preferred.
- Spanish proficiency.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
