JOB TITLE: Morning News Producer

FOX 6 News is searching for a Producer, but not just any Producer. We want a Producer who is passionate about crafting compelling newscasts that resonate with a diverse audience. RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Craft compelling newscasts that resonate with a diverse audience.
2. Create and produce fast-paced newscasts that prioritize accuracy and urgency.
3. Showcase razor-sharp news judgment to dominate breaking news.
4. Pay attention to details that enhance the overall quality of the show.
5. Utilize various tools to tell impactful stories while engaging the audience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. College degree (preferably in Journalism) with a minimum of two years producing experience at a commercial television station.
2. Able to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and multitask.
3. Familiarity with newsroom computer systems; graphics programs and editing skills are a plus.
4. This is a morning news position, but other shifts may be assigned as needed including weekends and holidays.
