We are looking for a Photographer to join our team in our Head Office in Richmond.
JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a talented and experienced fashion photographer who is highly creative, organised and efficient and is as committed as we are to creating visually stunning campaigns that resonate with our customers. The role includes shooting EComm photography to ensure our online store features visually appealing and accurate representations of our product. You will also be responsible for capturing high quality content for wider marketing initiatives such as smaller product shoots and content to be used for social media, both paid and organic, email and editorial web features. Whilst leading with your photographic skills you should also be highly competent in shooting video. You will work closely with the Stylist, Producer and creative team to create industry leading imagery and video content that appeals to our customers and is in line with our visual handwriting.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the lead photographer for all ecom and content shoots ensuring high quality, consistent product images that accurately reflect the colour, details and textures of our products.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and themes for photoshoots that align with our brand vision and marketing strategies.
- Execute photoshoots utilising advanced photography techniques to capture high quality images that highlight the design, fit and features of the product.
- Shoot low fly video campaigns to support smaller content shoots.
- Give clear and concise model direction on set and be accountable for the poses, mood and overall feel of the product shots alongside the Stylists and Producer.
- Use your strong sense of style and meticulous eye for detail and composition to ensure every shot is of the highest quality whilst maintaining an aspirational look and feel.
- Deliver every shoot to agreed timings and budget.
- Ensure images are edited and re-touched in line with our visual handwriting and are an accurate representation of the final product.
- Demonstrating and maintaining a professional presence in and around the business.
- Maintain a professional, organised and productive working environment, maintaining and managing video and photography equipment ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Supporting the team in following established processes to deliver agreed creative and quality standards in line with departmental strategy.
- Be innovative regarding lighting and shooting techniques to ensure our imagery is ahead of the competition.
- Conduct seasonal reviews regarding background, lighting, pose, mood, look and feel. See any changes through to effective completion.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and equipment and styles ensuring we stays with/ahead of our competitors.
- Work Creative team on ad hoc projects.
- Be proactive in maintenance of studio kit, ensuring kit stays in optimal working condition and replacements flagged within a timely manner.
- Developing your creative knowledge to keep shoots relevant and aspirational - always up to date on our customers, with a strong overview of fashion, social media and general trends, working collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Demonstrating excellent brand awareness by identifying areas for review, researching ideas and assessing competition when required to ensure we are market leaders.
