Responsibilities

1. Media Relations
   • Identify niche specific media outlets, conferences, summits, and events.
   • Cultivate and nurture relationships with stakeholders and event organizers.
2. Contract Negotiation
   • Craft compelling and authentic proposals and presentations.
   • Secure speaking engagements with maximum speaking fees and favorable terms.
3. Project Management
   • Manage the booking process from start to finish, ensuring clear communication and streamlined execution for all parties involved.
   • Analyze engagement metrics, speaking fees earned, and brand awareness.
   • Refine strategy and continuously improve results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field (preferred).
• 2-4 years of public relations or communications experience (e.g., talent agency, speaker bureau, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in media outreach and relationship building.
• Strong creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh ideas.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and PR analytics tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills.
• Passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record of exceeding booking goals for speakers and/or events.
• Experience in business and leadership development.
• Proficiency in sales and marketing strategies.
• Knowledge of copywriting principles.
• Previous experience with event management and crisis communication.

Compensation

• Commission-based salary:
  • Less than $5,000 = 15% commission
  • $5,000 - $10,000 = 20% commission
  • $10,000 or more = 25% commission
• Individual bonuses for surpassing quarterly performance goals.
