What the role is:

You are part of a team that develops and enhances the Strategic Communications (SC) capabilities in MINDEF/SAF.

What you will be working on:

1. Support the identification of operational concepts and desired capabilities for Strategic Communications (SC).
2. Drive implementation of SC capabilities and manage SC-related projects.
3. Establish response plans for anticipated scenarios with significant SC impact.

Challenges:

1. Identifying and incorporating new initiatives to ensure that MINDEF/SAF stays at the leading edge of the information curve.
2. Building and maintaining a diverse network within the SC community.
3. Ensuring holistic, consistent, and sustainable development of SC capabilities.

What we are looking for:

1. Education in Social Sciences or Mass Communication, with electives in Organisation and/or Business development.
2. Good verbal, writing and analytical skills.
3. Capability to handle multiple projects independently.
4. Ability to work on a varied portfolio.
5. Self-motivated and Team player mentality.
6. Ability to work well with internal and external partners from all industries.
