About this role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Publishing Coordinator to join our talented team in China. The Publishing Coordinator provides administrative, data analysis, business meetings/events, and project management support for the Publishing Development (PD) team in China. This role supports a local team responsible for maintaining and developing Wiley’s Journal portfolio of hundreds of STM journals.

How you will make an impact:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for Business-as-usual of our journal portfolio and others.
  • Business Travels and Meetings: Support in organizing external and internal business meetings, including editorial board meetings and Wiley events. This includes booking meeting rooms, sorting out catering, making meeting minutes, producing, and distributing event-related materials, and managing participant invitations and inquiries.
  • On-Site Management: Set up registration desks and ensure the event is properly set up with promotional materials.
  • Data Analysis and Portfolio Promotion: Support data analysis, including key subject analysis, market intelligence, and competitor intelligence, to drive portfolio and team development. Compiling data into professional reports and presentations.
  • Project Support: Facilitate and support miscellaneous and journal-specific projects as needed.

What we look for:

  • Ability to support a busy team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, unambiguously, and concisely to internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in administrative tasks and data analysis.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in a research, publishing, or administrative position is preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience in project management will be a plus.
  • Highly self-motivated, achievement and team-oriented, with excellent planning skills.
