JOB DESCRIPTION

As SEO Strategist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive SEO plan that aligns with the agency’s goals and objectives. You will conduct keyword research, analyze the competition, and identify opportunities for improvement. You will closely monitor industry trends and search engine algorithms, and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO is integrated into overall marketing efforts. Additionally, you will be responsible for continuously evaluating and adjusting the SEO strategy as needed, and for communicating the strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

Select SEO Objectives and Keyword Groups based on the brief from sales, set KPIs based on the old data, and estimate SEO assets needed.

Do the brand and competitor analysis to get the main site structure, keyword groups, on-page and off-page strategy. Coordinate with the clients to create an SEO strategy.

Present the SEO strategy to the client.

Create and manage timelines to achieve a successful launch of the campaigns. Coordinate and communicate with internal members and with the client.

Analyze reports and create optimization actions to achieve campaign goals. Monitor performance, stay on track with the KPIs, solve problems as they arise, and report back to clients.

Communicate with clients on a day-to-day basis, extract client concerns and requests, and respond with solutions.

Analyze the data in reports, create recommendations for the next steps, and communicate them to the client.

Explore new ways of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO optimization. Pioneer new projects to develop SEO services.

Check and approve referring domains to ensure backlink quality.

Supervise the team to recruit exchange backlink partners and approve the partners that will join our community.

Approve related keywords and content topics that will strengthen the focus keywords for internal projects and clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience setting up Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Experience generating sitemaps and submitting them in Google Search Console.
  • On-Page SEO
    • Experience grouping keywords based on search volume and search intent.
    • Experience planning the direction of SEO topics and subtopics.
    • Experience using WordPress to publish SEO content.
    • Experience using SEO optimization plugins like Yoast SEO, All in One SEO, or related plugins.
  • Off-Page SEO
    • Experience planning the direction of SEO off-page strategy, including website selection and implementing backlink methods (paid, free, and exchange backlinks).
  • Technical SEO
    • Experience using GTmetrix and Google Page Speed to optimize technical SEO.
  • Monitoring and Reporting
    • Familiar with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, particularly with formulas like QUERY, VLOOKUP, ARRAYFORMULA, IF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and other advanced formulas.
    • Experience using Google Analytics, Looker Studio (Data Studio), or Power BI.
    • Experience creating advanced reports (e.g., tables with heatmaps, pivot tables, line or bar charts with time comparison charts).
    • Experience using SEO third-party tools (e.g., ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz, SerpStat or related tools).
    • Experience using Screaming Frog.
    • Ability to create optimization actions based on data analysis.
  • Hard Skills
    • Experience using Google Docs or Microsoft Word Online.
    • Experience using Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint Online.
    • Experience using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel Online.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong research skills, especially searching on Google.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience managing projects, creating timelines, and delegating work to graphic designers and copywriters.
    • Experience communicating analysis and reports to supervisors or clients.
    • Experience analyzing reports to identify when, where, and why problems occur.
