Our client is looking to add a SEO Specialist to their team. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity with potential to extend and can be remote working EST hours.

Job Responsibilities

The SEO Specialist is responsible for optimizing website content and structure to improve organic search engine rankings and drive targeted traffic. They will implement SEO strategies, analyze website performance, and collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to achieve SEO objectives.

• Recommend and implement changes to copy, metadata, URL optimization, and internal linking for targeted keywords to improve SEO positions and user experience.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
• Stay up-to-date on SEO industry trends and algorithm changes, adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Support SEO team to scale SEO campaigns and develop content strategy.
• Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content.
• Perform keyword research to identify target keywords and phrases.

• Good understanding of SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
• Excellent SEO writing skills and previous experience working with a CMS platform.
• Experience with website analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Search Console).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Attention to detail.
• Data-driven and analytical mindset.
• Project management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
