We are currently expanding our team in Pure Barre seeking a qualified Operations Manager that is focused on driving leads and service excellence for our luxury fitness brand. POSITION:

The Studio Manager will oversee all functionality of studio operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and networking
  2. Assist with sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes
  3. Membership and retail sales
  4. Handle Member Retention tasks & events
  5. Manage sales staff schedule
  6. Ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  7. Work with Sales Manager to Supervise Sales Representatives
  8. Work with owner to hire/train Sales Representatives
  9. Proficiency in gym management software and POS to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.
  10. Work with Lead Teacher to ensure teaching staff has appropriate supplies/equipment
  11. Ensure Class Schedule is updated in gym management software
  12. Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
  13. Collect outstanding dues
  14. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
  15. Enforce studio policies and procedures
  16. Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
  17. Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
  18. Any other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 1+ years of fitness sales or relevant management experience preferred
  2. Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps
  3. Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
  4. Previous management or supervisory experience required
  5. Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
  6. Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
  7. Must be solution-based and results oriented, competitive spirit
  8. Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
  9. An affinity and passion for fitness
  10. Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  11. Professional, punctual, reliable and neat and organized
  12. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  13. Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  14. Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
  15. Proficiency with computers and Studio software
  16. College Degree preferred
  17. Ability to work a flexible schedule with nights and weekend availability
