Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience and interface design. You will be responsible for enhancing user interactions and developing intuitive, aesthetically pleasing interfaces for our digital platforms and products.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and improve user interfaces for our website and various customer-facing and internal-facing applications to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
2. Collaborate with brand managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and design specifications.
3. Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.
4. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for various digital platforms.
5. Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback to refine designs.
6. Ensure consistency in visual elements and define behavior for user interactions.
7. Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
8. Stay abreast of UX trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds.
9. Understand and incorporate complexities of cross-platform design for mobile, desktop, and other devices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the manufacturing or architectural sectors.
3. Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, and InVision.
4. Strong portfolio of design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate your design decisions.
7. Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design required.
8. Must be able to demonstrate UX knowledge and expertise upon interviewing by showcasing previous work and experiments.
