Job Title: UI/UX Engineer/Developer II

Job Location: Chicago, IL 60606

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Description:

1. Develop front-end user interfaces for web-based or other software products, including mobile and web console devices.
2. Collaborate with back-end development, visual design, product management, and customers.
3. Code behaviors and functionality for current and future software applications using design specifications.
4. Assist with new user interface testing and participate in usability reviews.
5. Remain current on user interface trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessary.
6. May be responsible for usability research and design in absence of dedicated usability team members.
7. Requires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.
8. Conduct tasks and assignments as directed.

Requirements:

1. 4-5 years of relevant experience.
2. Proficient in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Java development.
3. Responsible for designing and developing new UI components for an existing application.
4. Will be creating enhancements for an internal routing tool.
5. No travel required.

In-person interview required. Second round interview will be face to face. Please only focus on candidates that can commit to an in-person interview, if requested.
