Responsibilities
Noblis is seeking to hire a UX Designer with an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI and Polygraph in Chantilly, VA. Noblis is looking for a User Experience Designer to facilitate effective design collaboration between the design and engineering teams. You will find intuitive solutions to complex problems and bridge the gap between the designers and Software Engineers. As a UX Designer you will collaborate and innovate with other colleagues, to address immediate mission challenges within the Intelligence Community (IC).
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and our team of technical SMEs to develop and design a vision for a product.
- Develop well-crafted research screeners and discussion guides.
- Write usability research screeners and discussion guides.
- Recruit targeted end-users for specific research studies.
- Conduct stakeholder and client interviews.
- Help develop and implement quantitative surveys.
- Translate user insights into actionable recommendations for client product teams.
- Craft personas and guideposts to communicate insights across the client design and development teams.
- Present design research findings to the larger group in a clear and organized fashion.
- Work closely with product teams to identify research objectives.
- Provide a high-quality user experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5-8 years professional hands-on experience.
- Master's Degree and 3-5 years of professional hands-on experience.
- Solid understanding of the design thinking process, as well as a passion and know-how for influencing design strategy.
- At least 5 years of experience conducting user research in a professional setting and/or portfolio of research case studies exhibiting artifacts of tasks in the field of user experience.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks.
- Certificate or significant education background in human-centered design, UI/UX, Systems design, human-computer interaction or similar field of study.
- Experience with different tools used to develop wireframes and user personas.
- Experience working with USG clients, operational components, and stakeholders.
