You'll be a Sr. UX Designer within the Digital Onboarding team and help lead design for the next generation of digital onboarding platform used by prospects and employees. You'll help reimagine how SVB can design, optimize, and integrate the onboarding experience to drive growth through client acquisitions, deepen existing client relationships, and improve channel and process efficiency through a unified and fully compliant platform. You'll work with designers, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and pain points, conduct research and discovery, develop service blueprints, and facilitate workshops to then design and deliver UX/UI designs that meet user and business goals.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in User Experience (UX) OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in User Experience (UX)
- 6-10 years designing digital product experiences in an agile development environment
- Preferred Qualifications:
- A portfolio of high-quality UX deliverables based on user goals, data, and business priorities, including annotated wireframes, flow diagrams, service blueprints, storyboards, high-fidelity prototypes, user research, and production-ready final assets that exemplify a deep understanding of the UI/UX design principles to define human-centered design solutions
- A collaborative, Design Thinking mindset and the ability to advocate for the user while operating with business and technical constraints and changing priorities
- A proven track record of excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and workshop facilitation skills to develop alignment with and between stakeholders to then execute on aligned roadmaps with quality and speed
- Ability to effectively present and communicate designs and design decisions to various levels of product, design, and business leadership, give and receive feedback and adapt work and designs to the needs and constraints of the business
- Exceptional knowledge of Figma to generate low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes as well as final designs for developer handoff and seeing built designs all the way through delivery
- Experience designing for both internal and external users by leveraging Service Design best practices
- Experience working with and adhering to design systems, patterns, and style guides
- The ability to onboard quickly into the Client Lifecycle Management part of the business, as well as our onboarding platform that you'll be designing for
- Experience designing digital products in the financial services industry
- Proficiency with Figma, Mural, and user research platforms and other tools for testing and generating low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, as well as JIRA for partnering with developers
- Experience with business process automation software like Appian
- Experience working with developers using React.js for responsive web apps

If hired in CA or NY, the base pay for this position is generally between $138,210.00 and $186,990.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
