Job Summary

Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

1. Implementing user-centered design in MathWorks software products for small, self-contained projects.
2. Designing user experiences based on detailed requirements that meet user needs and product vision.
3. Understanding MathWorks’ product directions and developing design solutions.
4. Proposing design ideas based on usability testing, standard UX methodologies, and technical input.
5. Using user-centered research to improve coding workflows, analyze data, build algorithms, and create applications of limited scope.
6. Assisting in design processes, from early ideas and sketches to wireframes and prototypes, and into active development and go-live.
7. Contributing to requirements and design documents.
8. Collaborating on low, medium, and high-fidelity prototypes.
