Video Producer

We are looking for an experienced Video Producer for our professional services client. This will be a 6-month engagement slated to start in early February and working onsite in Washington DC. This role will be 35-40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime or staggered hours on the days of the shoot. This role requires a well-rounded Video Producer who is comfortable leading production efforts in a studio setting while consulting with clients and overseeing occasional location shoots. As an experienced creative producer, you are a leader who influences imaginative thinking and contributes to strategic visions that help our clients solve their most complex business challenges with innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage complex on-location and remote video/audio projects through the full development and production lifecycle including planning, budgeting, storyboarding, concepting, scripting, and execution of audio and video production and publishing.
  2. Producing many projects out of our client’s multi-camera video studio in Washington, D.C.
  3. Strategizing and consulting with internal clients to understand their message and assist them in transforming their content into a visual medium of animation or video that effectively conveys their strategic business objectives.
  4. Lead high-level, complex video/audio projects, develop and manage detailed project plans and budgets, edit and utilize existing video footage as well as direct the creation of new footage.
  5. Lead, coach, and mentor project team members in producing creative and innovative deliverables that meet internal client demands and expectations.
  6. Conducting video interviews with internal clients and coaching senior leaders on-camera performance.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in radio, television, film or mass communication or related discipline or equivalent experience
  2. Creative, digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills
  3. Eight years as a video producer with experience supervising and directing creative talent and interviewing and coaching “C” suite executives
  4. Corporate video production experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a financial services organization
  5. Advanced experience managing on-location video shoots and producing in TV studios
  6. Experience managing the operations of a corporate TV studio
  7. Experience directing and switching multicamera shots
  8. Strong experience in working with clients directly, assessing their needs, and providing creative solutions
  9. Strong experience managing remote shoots and Zoom recording sessions.
  10. Strong experience managing multiple Zoom recordings that are later packaged together for ‘simulive’ webcasts
  11. Advanced knowledge of video/digital information and video production techniques
  12. Technical excellence in operating various types of video and DSLR cameras, lenses, lighting, and sound equipment with the ability to direct the right shot for the project
  13. Advanced understanding of various audio/video editing software such as: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Encoder, Final Cut Pro
  14. Ability to rapidly learn new technologies frequently and guide others to do the same
  15. Ability to build relationships with the highest level of leadership, to skillfully liaison between groups of people to bring positive solutions that meet business objectives
  16. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Workfront
  17. Ability to proactively foster exceptional client relationships to build trust and collaboration that leads to the co-development of new opportunities
  18. Strong business acumen to fully comprehend stakeholders’ strategic vision and influence the development and creation of the video
  19. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and teaming skills with the ability to model by example
  20. Ability to lead and drive innovation and creativity from diverse project teams and colleagues across the country
  21. Superb communication skills, active listening, and diplomacy when working with internal team members and business partners
  22. Excellent project management, team building, and interpersonal communications skills, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills within a creative environment

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47.10 to $52.34 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
