About the Role
We’re excitedly seeking a Video Producer who is excited to storytell in a compelling and dynamic manner through video content. The Video Producer will work directly with our Creative Director, Brand Producer, and Head of Studios to assist in producing content for ‘Sell It’ (the education division of our business), as well as our company-wide brand messaging initiatives. You should be familiar with social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. You are well-versed in optimizing content for cross-platform distribution. The role requires a strong team mentality and a brand-forward mind. A successful candidate is someone who is equal parts organizer and creative, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and can create impactful products.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end creation of how-to style video courses for our clients in the business space
- Work with the manager of instructional design, subject matter experts, and instructors to craft outcome-based curriculums
- Create fresh, engaging video content that follows our brand standards across digital and social platforms
- Edit video, audio, and photo to support multimedia programs and projects on company brand marketing initiatives
- Manage multiple project communications with our Agents at various stages in the production timeline
- Assist with on-set productions as a camera operator, sound mixer, and/or gaffer pending the need of the production
- Work in the conception and execution of video assets that will aim to solve a variety of product needs across all digital platforms
- Evaluate existing content formats and make recommendations to improve
- Contribute to conversation in brainstorms and meetings about brand strategy and our in-house systems and processes
- Work with the production and post-production team to develop a creative production plan to produce a regular cadence of courses, managing the entire process from pre-production, production, and post-production
- Ensure all video content meets brand guidelines and quality standards before publication
- Ensure proper backup and storage of all production materials
- Write scripts and create storyboards for video projects

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience in video production, preferably in an educational or brand-focused environment
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
- Experience with audio editing software and photo editing tools like Adobe Audition and Photoshop. Familiarity with camera operation, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) and how to optimize video content for each platform
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for managing project communications with internal teams and external clients
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in end-to-end project management, from pre-production through post-production.
- A great collaborator through all parts of post-production including brainstorming, storyboarding, and execution with the ability to follow workflow guidelines and naming conventions
- This role is on-site, based in New York City
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
