POSITION SUMMARY:

The Video Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and interpreting data to provide TEAM’s coaching staff with insights and recommendations to enhance overall on-field performance. This is a full-time position located in Louisville, KY. Must be willing and able to relocate to Louisville, KY.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the coaching staff with match preparation including but not limited to analysis, tagging, and coding.
  • Prepare post-match analysis, video clips, and reports for all matches.
  • Responsible for filming and live coding during team training and matches.
  • Organizes and maintains all video and data.
  • Assists coaching staff in the preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Assists in the preparation and review of all training sessions, meetings, and matches using video and data.
  • Supports scouting and development of game strategies for all matches.
  • Manages and maintains all necessary equipment and software.
  • Assists the team in all exhibitions, regular season, playoff, tournament, international, and other matches.
  • Participates in promotional, sponsorship, and public relations activities as requested by the Club.
  • Aligns with the Club’s vision and philosophies.
  • Complies with Club and League rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sports science, statistics, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a high-performance soccer setting; experience working with female athletes preferred. Possesses a strong understanding of women’s soccer and the NWSL.
  • Proficient in utilizing software including, but not limited to, WyScout, Hudl, SportsCode, Spiideo.
  • Ability to fly a drone and operate an iPad.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills; able to communicate data and analysis to a wide range of individuals with different backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions using sound judgment.
  • Able to work constructively and positively in supporting colleagues and all aspects of club development and success.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated qualities of honesty, integrity, credibility, and solid work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to problem solve.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must be able to work outside normal working hours, particularly on weekends and evenings.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment comprehensive background check.
  • Must be legally authorized or can obtain authorization to work in the US.
  • Willing and able to relocate to Louisville, KY.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to work in a moderate to very loud environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e. heat, rain, cold, snow, wind).

SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position that will require working during evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the team’s schedule.

Soccer Holdings, LLC., is the parent company of professional soccer clubs Louisville City FC (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL). Both teams call Lynn Family Stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood home and operate out of the nearby Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center. Louisville City launched in 2015 and quickly established a winning tradition, claiming USL titles in 2017 and 2018.
