The Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) and the Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) require assistance in organizational planning, implementation, maturation, and strengthening of the HQ Space Force. To further the process of developing HQ USSF, a multi-faceted planning, integration, and management support team continues to implement a multi-phased, multi-year plan to transition HQ USSF from an initial operating capacity to full operational capacity. The Visual Identity Lead will support these efforts by performing the following functions:

  1. Visual Identity team coordinates with stakeholders from OSD, JS, Sister Services, Defense Logistics Agency, and the defense industrial base to design, develop, test, produce and field USSF service specific uniforms.
  2. Develops Physical awards presented annually to nominated Polaris Recipients.
  3. Responsible for development and sustainment of the USSF Space Force Corridor and Guardian Hall.
  4. Participates in USSF HQs uniform Boards and coordinates development and delivery of Uniform Specific awards, ranks, badges, and decorations.
  5. Provides USSF Senior Leader Updates on development of visual identity items.
  6. Represents the USSF at defense industrial base clothing and textile industry events, ICW PAO conducts interviews and develops strategic messaging for progress of USSF visual identity items.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  1. Relevant experience related to performance of business process definition and business process modeling, and information system schemes.
  2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
  3. Active Secret security clearance.

The following qualifications are desired:

  1. Over Five (5) years of progressive experience in high-level technical and organizational support services.

Travel: Travels approximately once every month.
