- Visual/UI Design Contractor Job at Joinswsh in New York

We are looking to hire a Visual Design Contractor to help accelerate the growth of swsh. This is a ~40 hour contract project.

Responsibilities:

• Create polished visual language to support the brand and content presented.
• Develop visual concepts to enhance swsh user experiences.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of UI elements into the product.
• Conceptualize, design, develop, and execute a variety of animation and asset concepts in collaboration with the product team.
• Apply brand identity systems, pattern libraries, typography, photography, and color to create 2D & 3D visual solutions across marketing materials and product.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Design and develop high-quality UI prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Ensure consistency and coherence in design across different platforms and devices.

What You’re Good At:

• Significant experience working with consumer-facing startups on creating brand identities.
• Significant experience in creating and applying brand identity systems to apps and websites.
• Strong proficiency in creating app and web compatibility animations.
• Strong proficiency in creating graphics and 2D assets to enhance user joy while using the product.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe Suite, Lottie Animations.
• Experience with creating brand identity for Gen-Z focused products.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
• Experience with 3D animations.
• Experience with both consumer social apps and consumer utility products.
• Elevate product brand: repository of animation, imagery, and icons.
• Create collateral imagery: app store screenshots, app icon.
• Design foundational brand bible: summary of swsh brand guidelines - color library, fonts, standard buttons, logo.
