The Office of Marketing and Communications at South Dakota Mines is seeking a qualified Web Designer to drive the redesign and ongoing maintenance of the university website by working with administrative, technical, and departmental constituents to ensure content is up-to-date and functionality meets the needs of target markets. Candidates with experience in web design, web project management, management and development of web content within a content management system, information architecture, and search engine optimization are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must have an understanding of branding and marketing principles and organizational experience, preferably in higher education.
A bachelor’s degree in web design, web development, computer science, information technology, marketing, graphic design, publishing, journalism, or a closely related field is required.
