At The Creative Bar, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. We are seeking a skilled and creative 3D Rendering Artist to join our dynamic creative team. As a 3D Renderer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming conceptual product designs into stunning visual representations. Your expertise in 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, or Maya along with your artistic eye and technical prowess will contribute to producing high-quality renders of our products across multiple brands for marketing and social content, packaging, print, and other digital needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating photorealistic renderings of products and environments while constantly growing and innovating as a 3D designer and artist.

Qualified candidates MUST be a good cultural fit, so traveling with the team on retreats, enjoying monthly BBQs, and having a favorite cocktail is a must.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Play a pivotal role in transforming conceptual product designs into stunning visual representations.
  • Create photo-realistic materials, lighting, and rendered images for various uses such as marketing and advertisements.
  • Manage your time across multiple projects while adhering to project deadlines.
  • Be flexible in your hours in order to accommodate communication with other team members and to hit tight project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, superiors, and members of the organization outside of your 3D team in order to improve designs.
  • Utilize your expertise in software such as 3ds Max, V-Ray, and SketchUp.
  • Contribute to the creative vision from ideation, execution, and asset delivery.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop compelling models and environments.

Skills:

  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.

  • Experience using Mac computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.

  • Creates accurate production files fit for collaboration with the 3D Department.
  • Works with creative leads to improve visual style, render quality, and overall accuracy.
  • Secures final approvals of design assets by uploading assets within our digital proofing system, moderates feedback, and edits until approved.
  • Ensures and maintains a positive environment with team members.
  • Collaborates with the Art Director in producing creative assets.
  • Maintains the approved authentic and visual style of each assigned task.

Experience/Education:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of professional 3D experience.
  • Stellar online portfolio/samples of previous design projects.
  • Exceptional artistic and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Expert in 3D software – Maya, Zbrush, Blender, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, etc.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in Graphic Design a Plus!

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position and you will be required to work in our Murrieta, CA location two set days per week following our hybrid remote schedule.
