Job Description

Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Des Moines IA
Duration: 3 Months

Required Qualifications:

1. 1+ years technical documentation and publication experience
2. Drafts, edits and formats basic to moderately complex technical manuals, project and/or other technical documentation.
3. Drafts and/or edits basic web content. Researches and translates technical information for technical and non-technical users.
4. Uses developing knowledge of HTML, JavaScript languages and other web-based tools to assist in web-publishing projects.
5. Authors basic help screens for e-tools, primarily with information supplied by others.
6. Conducts basic audience analysis.
7. Edits and/or reformats copy and ensures documentation is in compliance with corporate standards.
8. Follows established guidelines for organization and design of work.
9. May maintain document library or repository.
10. May create graphical technical presentations for others.
11. Responsible for Data entry and analysis.
