The Work:

You're a member of a writing team whose goal is to create clear, concise, and compelling sales materials to differentiate Accenture from its competitors. Along with creating and editing, you use creative storytelling to deliver innovative sales materials. You also help make sure the team consistently understands and follows best practices and standards.

You will:

  1. Serve as a lead writer on pursuit writing support requests.
  2. Participate in and co-facilitate proposal storyboarding sessions.
  3. Apply conceptual writing and storytelling for large and complex deals.
  4. Collaborate with creative colleagues such as designers to develop materials.
  5. Own the writing of technical and standard sections and content.
  6. Work with subject matter experts to develop and refine content.
  7. Conduct peer reviews and share insights to enhance content.
  8. Contribute to and work with content in internal repositories.
  9. Support training and coach junior team members.
  10. Apply best practices aligned with the global team, promoting consistency among writers.
  11. Contribute to and participate in the pursuit writing practice community.

Here’s what you need:

+ A minimum of 6 years professional writing experience.

Extra credit if you have:

  1. Grant writing experience.
  2. Experience writing for a public sector audience.
  3. Writing to support the sales process.
  4. Writing experience with IT offerings or topics.
  5. Highly competent in MS Word and PowerPoint.

Professional Skills:

  1. Excellent command of business language.
  2. Strong storytelling experience and deep familiarity with editorial guidelines.
  3. Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills.
  4. Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  5. Able to work independently and in a virtual environment.

Compensation:

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

Role Location Annual Salary Range:

California $73,800 to $182,600

Colorado $73,800 to $157,800

District of Columbia $78,500 to $168,000

Illinois $68,300 to $157,800

Minnesota $73,800 to $157,800

Maryland $68,300 to $146,100

New York $68,300 to $182,600

Washington $78,500 to $168,000
