Sr. UX Designer Job at Aquent in Detroit

Immediate opening for a freelance UX Designer in Dearborn, Michigan. Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week.

• Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

The UX Designer will design and plan story flow for executive level presentations, ensuring the story is compelling and features the digital experience in various scenarios.

Responsibilities

Plan and Inspire

• Lead the vision and execute the production of the holistic product experience.
• Create seamless experiences across multiple platforms.
• Work with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with internal and external business partners and technology service providers.
• Define the digital/physical story flow in collaboration with the design team.

High-Fidelity Digital Design

• Utilize current design systems while problem-solving any design system gaps.
• Clearly articulate ideas and vision with a variety of collaborators, welcoming feedback.
• Move from design concepts to higher-fidelity screen designs that effectively communicate and meet user needs.
• Prioritize various user needs and advocate for design excellence.
• Define how users interact with various interfaces, like gesture controls, voice commands, touchscreens, etc.
• Structure information in a logical and intuitive manner.
• Create visually appealing designs.

High-Fidelity Prototyping

• Create high-fidelity 3D and 2D graphics for digital interfaces.
• Leverage motion graphics and animations in digital designs.
• Create dynamic interactions linked to physical/digital buttons in a buck.
• Simulate digital experience in a buck with multiple displays that is immersive and engaging.

Deliverables

The deliverables are defined as follows:

• Opportunities – Recommendations for relevant market opportunities and new design studies to support future product strategies.
• Design Brief – New products defined in terms of target group, product positioning, and new features.
• Concept Visualization – Identification of relevant design/style/products and potential new design/style/products.
• The final delivery will be a buck, including digital screens and hardware to deliver the digital content.
• Including an interactive screen and system to help communicate the experience.
• Including the use of Figma and Protopie to create the visuals.
• Including graphic design.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.00 to $63.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
