Producer Job at Bit Reactor in Cockeysville

Bit Reactor is in search of a Producer to help us plot our course through hyperspace. As a Producer, you will collaborate with the team and project leads to help deliver a best-in-class player experience that will revolutionize games through the lens of the Star Wars universe.

Responsibilities:

1. Support feature/discipline teams with sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives while working to improve their cohesion and process.
2. Be a helpful facilitator and maintain a good relationship with the team, while also helping to hold them accountable for their commitments.
3. Communicate your team's progress to leadership, ensuring that roadblocks are clearly communicated and addressed.
4. Support Leads/Directors with preparing items for review/submissions.
5. Work with Leads/Directors to help establish roadmaps and audit their status, updating accordingly throughout the project.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledgeable and confident in the usage of Jira (or a similar project tracking software) for usage on the project, as well as being able to support team members in their usage of it.
2. Understanding and experienced application of various production methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban).
3. Strong communication and organizational skills.
4. Clear and proactive communicator who works effectively with both onsite and remote members of the team.
5. The ability to work with members of all feature and discipline teams and different personality types.
6. 4+ years of experience in game development in a project management capacity, preferably as an embedded member of a studio development team.
7. Growing knowledge of game development and a strong willingness to learn.

Bonus:

1. Worked in the AAA space and shipped a title.
2. A love of Star Wars.

Bit Reactor prefers to hire candidates who are willing to relocate to Hunt Valley, Maryland, but is open to remote options.
