The Digital Producer will report to the Web Production Manager and be an integral part of our Web Production team. This position is a key support role that will build our new sites and experiences ensuring a positive experience for our site visitors. As a Digital Producer, you will support our marketing organization in executing their plans by building the web pages and assets that support campaigns, program launches, events, and advertising. You will partner with the Creative, Product Marketing, and Campaign teams to develop pages and experiences that will educate and engage our prospects and customers. You are constantly striving to hone and expand your skills through technological solutions and leveraging industry-standard software tools, in this case, Sitecore Content Management tools. Whether it's advising on the feasibility of creative concepts, ensuring priorities are managed, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions ahead of time, the only thing certain is that no one day is ever the same.
Primary responsibilities:
Collaborate with Creative, Product Marketing, and Campaign Marketing to oversee the creation of innovative and strategic digital executions.
Work on the conversion of older sites/pages/content onto the Sitecore Platform, in partnership with the wider production, SEO, and Data teams to meet deliverables.
Working with our analytics team ensures site tracking is established and working on new pages.
Contribute to the creative process by assessing feasibility of proposed solutions and recommending relevant and actionable approaches, offering support throughout the planning and execution process.
Ensure our pages adhere to overall strategic needs and digital best practices.
Stay up-to-date and current on new technologies and our content management platform.
Key aspects of the role:
Editorial calendar:
Planning and scheduling releases to hit key dates from marketing to maintain a consistent flow of fresh content.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams:
Working closely with designers to create visual elements, developers to implement technical aspects, and marketers to align content with campaign goals.
SEO optimization:
Implementing strategies to improve website ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs).
User experience (UX) focus:
Ensuring website content is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and optimized for different devices.
Quality assurance (QA):
Performing thorough checks to identify and resolve errors on the website before publishing.
Content updates and maintenance:
Regularly updating existing website content to keep information accurate and relevant.
Project management:
Overseeing website development projects to launch, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will need:
3+ years in a corporate setting in a digital production role or similar working on the Sitecore Content Management Platform.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS). Experience with digital management of assets, video and content utilizing the Sitecore Digital Asset Management system.
Experience with Sitecore content management system and tools (over 3+ years); Project management and development software (Jira); design and prototyping software (Figma, Adobe XD).
Knowledge of website and UX, processes, and best practices.
Strong understanding of SEO principles.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Project management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Analytical skills to interpret website data.
Aware of current digital trends and best practices.
Excellent communication skills between internal production/creative teams.
Ability to work independently to ensure requests are executed as desired and on time.
Bachelor's degree required or relevant experience.
