OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment, and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX10, Arizona’s preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative Senior Producer to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities include:

1. Produce a timely and compelling newscast that is editorially and visually dynamic.
2. Participate and help lead in the editorial process.
3. Help book guests for segments and shows.
4. Assign stories for associate producers and ENG staff with video production.
5. Complete simple desktop editing and use templates to produce graphics.
6. Utilize a variety of storytelling techniques and tools to showcase stories in unique ways.
7. Incorporate and showcase content from multiple platforms into newscasts.
8. Demonstrate exceptional news judgment, strong writing, and copy-editing abilities.
9. Produce content/newscasts for news specials, and possibly field produce.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications.
2. Minimum 2 years working in a major market newsroom as a producer or smaller market news manager.
3. Availability for weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
