WordPress Web Developer

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Syracuse, NY. Remote applicants need not apply. TOTAL provides comprehensive website design, development and on-going site management for clients throughout NYS and across the country. TOTAL serves a wide variety of industries including aerospace/defense, agriculture, commercial & residential building, e-commerce, education, finance, healthcare, medical equipment, pharmacy, real estate, retail and more. Experience The ideal candidate for this position is a professional and energetic team player who is able to multi-task effectively, offer quick and accurate responses, provide creative input to help advance client’s brands and ensure proper service. Duties Work within WordPress CMS Framework, Git repositories, and Google Analytics Standard Coding, Maintenance, and General Troubleshooting of client websites Monitor page performance and results Identify and evaluate site improvement options and functionalities Skills / Qualifications Proven 2-3+ years of working experience as a programmer/developer Proficiency in PHP, Twig, MYSQL, HTML, CSS, SASS, Javascript (ES10), Node.js, and WordPress development using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields). Experience in fluidity and breakpoint responsiveness; design for mobile and tablet devices Development for cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) E-commerce experience with WooCommerce and Shopify is a plus Must be able to work within and hit deadlines Performs other duties as assigned Qualified candidates will be required to take a skills test Other Please provide salary requirements.
