Job Description Summary

Meridian Capital Group, one of the country’s leading commercial real estate finance, investment sales and retail leasing firms, is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and creative Graphic Designer with the ability to produce effective and high-quality marketing materials, ranging from offering memoranda to email campaigns. This position requires a well-organized, responsible, resourceful, and detail-oriented team player with the ability to juggle competing priorities and work under strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will have prior graphic design experience in real estate and/or financial services as well as experience using digital illustration and layout software including Adobe Creative Suite.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible to provide marketing and graphic design services under the direction of Senior Designer
  • Design and format marketing materials including offering memoranda, property brochures, proposals, presentation boards, set ups, flyers, postcards and newsletters
  • Create concepts and layouts based on knowledge of design principles and elevated aesthetics
  • Create on-brand marketing materials that adhere to branding guidelines
  • Build area maps that illustrate businesses, transportation and points of interest surrounding a property
  • Create tables, charts, graphs, illustrations and other visuals in a highly efficient manner
  • Coordinate production of materials including gathering printing bids, packaging artwork and assembling final layouts for printers, preparing notes and instructions for printers and other vendors


Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Communications or related discipline
  • 2+ years of graphic design experience or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Understand, design, and use infographics and iconography to create effective visual communication
  • Detail oriented, well organized, able to handle multiple projects at any given time and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with high-end graphics, marketing, or production environment
  • Proven record of providing outstanding internal and external customer service

Additional Information:

Base salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, and geographic location. The expected base salary for the role will generally be between $65,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment, plus a discretionary bonus. However, the final salary offered may be outside this range based on these factors and individual circumstances.
