Retail Success is looking for a mid level Product (UI/UX) Designer to join our Overland Park, KS team. This position is responsible for all stages of user interface design from concept to final hand-off. This position delivers an outstanding user experience by providing an exceptional and intuitive application design.

Retail Success is a business-to-business FinTech company based in Overland Park, Kansas.  From marketing and loyalty, to eCommerce and payments, our software solutions give retailers the power to connect and sell to the world.  Our robust solutions include Wayroo, National Merchant Alliance,and Freedom Software.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 - 5 years working as a Product (UI/UX) Designer required; web and mobile design experience preferred.

Work Location:

• This position works a hybrid schedule in our Overland Park, Kansas office.  Candidates must reside in the Kansas City metropolitan area, or be willing to relocate.

Technologies:

• Figma 
• Familiarity with Sketch is beneficial
• Adobe products
• HTML5 CSS3

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all stages of visual design from concept to final handoff.
• Creates wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to effectively present and advocate interaction and design ideas.
• Attends discovery and ideation sessions.
• Collaborates with the development team to implement designs.
• Creates mobile mockups and shares mobile design elements. 
• Creates prototypes for client presentations for new designs.
• Leverage the use of Figma features for auto layout, variables, component creation, variants, and properties for reusability, consistency, and to speed the design process.
• Establishes and promotes design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Conducts research on new ideas and how tools and software platforms could integrate with current projects.
• Conducts useability testing, analyzes user feedback and activity to enhance user experience.
