Role Overview:
Pistola is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager who is passionate about fashion and denim to lead our Instagram and TikTok channels. This is an incredible opportunity for a creative, hands-on individual to develop Pistola’s social media presence and drive community engagement.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for crafting and implementing the social media and content strategy, managing campaigns, creating compelling content, and fostering a vibrant online community. This role is integral to amplifying Pistola’s voice across all platforms and supporting seasonal launches, events, and promotions.
Responsibilities
- Social & Content Strategy - Develop and implement a social media and content strategy focused on brand and product storytelling, building awareness, and driving community engagement.
- Campaign Management - Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with seasonal marketing strategies, launches, events, and promotions.
- Content Creation - Lead the execution of in-house content and manage the briefing and development of both paid and organic content.
- Content Creation - Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality, on-brand visual and written content.
- Community Management - Build and nurture an engaged online community by responding to comments, DMs, and questions in a timely and on-brand manner.
- Performance Analysis - Track social media metrics, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaigns and overall performance.
- Brand Management - Ensure consistency in brand voice and aesthetic across all social media channels.
- Trend Monitoring - Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, algorithms, tools, and emerging platforms, applying insights effectively to grow Pistola’s social channels.
- Collaboration - Work seamlessly with internal teams (Creative Director, graphic designer, merchants) and external partners (paid media teams, affiliates, content creators, stylists) to execute campaigns and initiatives.
- Partnerships & Awareness - Identify and manage partnerships with influencers, creators, and other collaborators to boost social engagement, awareness, and following.

Qualifications
- Excellent Communication & Writing Skills: Craft compelling content, engage with audiences, and manage online conversations effectively.
- Social Media Expertise: 2-5yrs of experience with a deep understanding of various social platforms, their features, and best practices.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing data, measuring campaign effectiveness, and making data-driven recommendations.
- Creativity & Innovation: Ability to develop fresh ideas and content to engage audiences and stay ahead of trends.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Time Management and Organization: Skilled at managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and the role of social media within the broader marketing mix.
- Budget Management: Experience managing a social media budget and optimizing spend to deliver on KPIs.
