Shift : Monday-Friday between 7:30am - 8:00pm.
Pay Rate: $48/hr. - $50/hr.

Job Summary
  • A Contract Research Photographer is a professional who will use their technical skills and personal camera equipment to create the images required for research studies.
  • The photographer will take high-quality images of child and adult research participants testing consumer products.
  • The photographer will maintain all camera equipment, including lights, lenses, and tripods.
  • After the images are captured, the Photographer will upload to the KC Digital Asset System following required standards.
  • Editing of images may be required and will be completed by the photographer using KC approved and provided computer and software.
  • This person will also be accountable for the study participant's safety while photographing the participant
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Select, set-up and verify equipment for use in research studies.
  • Properly light and photograph the subject.
  • Troubleshoot simple equipment issues.
  • Edit images as necessary.
  • Work within the Digital Asset Management system.
  • Follow direction of Study Manager.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional photography experience.
  • Ability to quickly adjust to complicated photographic situations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to use different types of photographic equipment
  • Understanding of artificial and natural lighting and how it affects different setting, shapes, and skin tones
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High degree of empathy for study participants.
  • Understand the Responsible Conduct of Human Subjects Testing.
Notes:
  • This role is strictly based on business needs and the number of studies being conducted per week.
  • One week they could work zero hours, the next week they could put in closer to 30-40 hours, it's entirely flexible and there is no guarantee for hours.
