Title: Senior UX Designer ( Only W2 candidate )

Location: Jersey City, NJ

*PROJECT OVERVIEW*

This role supports the Prime Services platform within Fidelity Capital Markets. Our customers are sophisticated institutional and retail investors. This role also supports Capital Market’s User Experience Design team, a group that delivers simple and accessible digital experiences to its customers.

NOTE: Would work with the product owners and tech team, not direct interfacing with clients.

*REQUIRED SKILLS*

Employment History:

-Long enough design history and confidence in speaking up and voicing their point of view

-High levels of attention to detail and ability to manage upgrade process, end-to-end

-Ability to operate independently – will not be working closely with a development team on a daily basis. Needs to be okay with that ***

Requirements:

• -6+ (8+ preferred) years of UX or related experience; degree in a related field such as interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, or human factors preferred -Hands-on with Figma required

• -Experience working on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred

• -Able to effectively communicate and explain design rationale to business and technical partners

• -Creating UIs and flows for new and existing web and mobile products.

Senior User Experience Designer who is passionate about their craft and designing clean solutions to help our financial professional users make thoughtful decisions. It’s a customer-focused environment where user experience designers are close partners of our product development team.

The Expertise and Skills you Bring

• 6+ years of UX or related experience; degree in a related field such as interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, or human factors preferred

• Experience working on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred

• Able to effectively communicate and explain design rationale to business and technical partners

• Creating UIs and flows for new and existing web and mobile products. Experience with Figma preferred

• An array of design skills, which might include visual, conversational, information architecture, prototyping, strategic design methods (such as design thinking), user research, or writing

• Collaborating with the product owner to help inform product strategy

• Contributing to the culture of the UXD group

• A digital portfolio we can review online is required

• Familiarity with the value of design systems, understanding reuse and scale, and knowing when to contribute to make them better
