Summary-

The Destination Marketing Manager for Riboli Family Wines will lead efforts to position our historical winery as a premier destination for wine enthusiasts, culinary explorers, and event-goers. With multiple locations featuring tasting rooms, restaurants, wine shops, and banquet halls, this role will be instrumental in driving visitation, elevating the guest experience, and fostering company growth. As a key leader, this position will also manage a team of professionals, ensuring seamless execution of strategies and campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a creative strategist with a deep understanding of market trends, tourism dynamics, and consumer behavior, who can develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans while inspiring a team to enhance the wineries' appeal. This will be a passionate individual who likes working in an interactive, positive and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to work within ambiguity and be a self-starter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.

Top Focus Areas of Responsibility-

1. Increase visitor attendance and on-site engagement at our locations through ideation and development of innovative marketing strategies, engaging events, and unforgettable guest experiences.

2. Team Building - lead hospitality marketing team by providing guidance, clarity of roles/handoffs, feedback, and support to team members, ensuring optimal performance.

3. Drive cross-functional collaboration - connect and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive successful completion of projects and deliverables on time. Key liaison with our brand and consumer marketing teams.

4. Oversee eCommerce and digital marketing efforts, leveraging online platforms and data-driven strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive online sales, and attract visitors to our locations.

5. Owner Partnership-Meet regularly with owner(s) to drive hospitality marketing objectives, initiatives and tackle challenges. Maintain transparent and open communication with senior management throughout projects and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Research
•Conduct market research to analyze trends, visitor demographics, and tourism preferences to inform marketing strategies.
•Develop and implement destination marketing plans aligned with our wineries' business objectives.
•Identify growth opportunities through partnerships with local tourism boards, hospitality businesses, local sports teams, and event organizers.

Marketing Campaign Development
•Create multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote wineries, tasting rooms, restaurants, and banquet hall events.
•Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling content, including photography, video, and copywriting, showcasing the winery's unique offerings.
•Develop strategies for digital engagement, including social media, email marketing, wine clubs, ecommerce, and our website.

Guest Experience Enhancement
•Work with operational teams to ensure seamless guest experiences across locations, focusing on customer satisfaction and repeat visitation.
•Partner with our owners, general managers, and cross functional leaders to curate seasonal and special-event programs, such as wine festivals, exclusive tastings, and culinary pairings, to attract diverse audiences.
•Monitor online reviews, customer feedback, and surveys to identify opportunities for improvement.

Team Leadership & Management
•Train and manage a team of marketing professionals, including a graphic designer, events specialist, customer service specialist, and social media specialists.
•Set team goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
•Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages creativity and results-driven work.

Collaboration & Partnerships
•Build relationships with regional tourism boards, travel agencies, and event planners to promote San Antonio Winery as a destination of choice.
•Collaborate with our restaurants, tasting rooms, and events teams to integrate marketing strategies for weddings, corporate events, tourism events, industry conferences, and other private bookings.

Analytics & Reporting
•Track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure visitation, revenue growth, and engagement.
•Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, recommending adjustments to strategies as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Tourism Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Experience:

o 5+ years of experience in destination marketing, hospitality, or tourism management.

o Proven success in creating and executing marketing plans for multi-faceted venues, destination cities, historical sites, museums, or attractions.
•Skills:

o Bilingual in English/Spanish Preferred.

o Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends and campaign performance.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and partnership-building.

o Creativity and storytelling ability to craft compelling campaigns.

o Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, and digital platforms

o Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Knowledge:

o Familiarity with the wine/spirits and culinary industries is highly desirable.

o Understanding of event marketing and hospitality operations.

Preferred Skills:
•Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Microsoft Office Suite, MailChimp or other email marketing platform.
•Familiarity with Asana, Commerce7, and Canva a plus!

Pay Range

$100,000-$150,000 USD
