Job Description
Phillip Jeffries is seeking a Social Media Specialist at our Fairfield, NJ headquarters. The Social Media Specialist plays a crucial role in maximizing the impact of Phillip Jeffries voice and brand through social media channels.This role reports to the Social Media Manager, and operates on a hybrid schedule: three days a week in our headquarters and two days remotely
What you will be doing:
Social Content Deployment
- Plan and schedule all social media posts and stories, including crafting engaging captions
- Generate UTM codes for tracking and performance analysis
Social Content Creation
- Capture behind-the-scenes videos and photos at various locations (office, warehouse, showrooms, tradeshows, photoshoots)
- Produce creative TikToks and assist in the creation of launch videos
- Source and obtain permission for user-generated content (UGC)
- Ensure all content adheres to brand standards and guidelines
Social Community Engagement and Lead Management
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and direct messages (DMs)
- Facilitate connections between community members and sales representatives or customer experience (CX) teams.
Sales Team Social Support
- Set up social media accounts for the sales team and manage account access
- Train the sales team on locating and posting images, including proper tagging
- Educate the sales team on the types of content to post and best practices
Influencer Program Support
- Coordinate the ordering and delivery of promotional materials
- Organize photo and video shoots as required.
- Monitor and follow up on influencer agreements
Must Have:
- 3+ years of social media experience, preferably in the interior design industry or related field
- An eye for design and a passion for storytelling and bringing ideas to life
- Deep understanding of all social media platforms
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
- Proficiency with social media scheduling and reporting tools (Sprout Social, SEM Rush, Google Analytics, Hubspot)
- Experience with digital asset management tools
- Proficiency in creating behind-the-scenes video content
- Experience editing video clips into short form video content
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Positive energy and a desire to learn and contribute
- Openness to feedback, redirection, and reprioritization
