We're seeking an
Associate Designer (Soft Goods)
to create thoughtful, brand-aligned products that push boundaries in design and functionality. This role collaborates closely with the Design Team, producing CADs, maintaining Product Launch boards, and preparing Product Knowledge and Collection Guides.
As part of a small, dynamic team, you'll bring expertise, collaboration, and creativity to the table. This role is perfect for someone self-motivated, solution-oriented, and excited about revolutionizing travel products.
This position reports directly to the
Sr. Manager, Design,
and although we are remote-first, this role requires
Los Angeles residency
for periodic in-person collaboration at our Hollywood office.
Responsibilities Conduct market research to identify opportunities and white space in the Travel Bag category. Develop innovative design concepts and solutions that align with the brand's vision. Design Travel & Lifestyle Bags, Accessories, and Organizational Systems with unique functionalities. Collaborate with Product Development to ensure designs meet target price points and feasibility. Create and update color CADs for presentations, linesheets, and cross-functional communication. Work closely with Tech Design and Product Development teams to ensure successful execution of designs. Prepare and distribute Product Knowledge documents and Collection Guides. Support Design Leads in presentations, sketch reviews, and concept kickoffs. Share insights and resolve challenges through cross-functional collaboration. Other related duties as required. Qualifications
3+ years in related Product Design/Industrial Design of soft goods and product engineering Passion for designing innovative travel, organizational, and performance solutions. Experience in Luggage, Travel, or Active/Performance Bags. Proficiency in creating color CADs with detailed callouts. Ability to create effective design documentation for seamless handoffs to the Product Development team. Must possess a strong fashion sense and can interpret trends Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up Must be flexible with the ability to self-manage and handle multiple priorities at once Must be a collaborative team player with great initiative Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop Familiarity with Miro is a plus Bachelor's Degree in Design or a related field or an Industrial Design degree is a plus.

Compensation
This position's annual base salary range is from $80,000 - 85,000. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location, and other relevant factors.
