Job Description Summary

The Program Aide – Course Editor & Reviewer is responsible for supporting the development of classroom, hybrid, or online courses.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborates with instructional design staff to review and edit online, blended, and web-enhanced courses.
2. Evaluates course materials for quality control, functionality, and accessibility.
3. Assists with accessibility-related course development tasks, such as captioning, writing alt text, and remediating PDFs.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's in Education or similar field.
2. Experience with copyediting.
3. Experience in making online material accessible.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Attention to detail.
2. Strong written and oral communication skills.
3. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others and/or independently.
