This opportunity entails being responsible for the creation of digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics to be used in proposals, presentations, PR and internal communications. Coordinates the production of materials to create an image, communicate concepts, or deliver a message in the most effective way.
What You'll Do:
- Creates print and digital materials for proposals, including templates, charts, maps, infographics, covers and layout.
- Creates print and digital materials for presentations, including PowerPoints, leave-behinds, and display boards.
- Creates print and digital materials for PR and internal communications, including brochures, ads, and announcements.
- Drafts concepts for visually communicating key messages.
- Files and organizes digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics.
- Assists in coordinating with print vendors and photographers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Associates Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field, or
- In lieu of education 2 years of relevant experience.
What You'll Bring:
- Showing fundamental proficiency in using InDesign and other graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Showing fundamental proficiency in developing PowerPoint presentation templates and graphics.
- Proficient in converting large amounts of data or information into visual illustrations with guidance from senior staff.
- Creatively translating information by assessing problems and conveying visual solutions with guidance from more experienced staff.
- Understanding of basic typography including application of line lengths, tracking, and leading in order to maximize legibility.
- Ability to produce quality work, with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment, including participating in brainstorming sessions to provide creative solutions for projects and working with technical staff to create visual aids such as diagrams, infographics, and schematics.
- Openness and responsiveness to feedback and ability to make revisions in a timely manner.
What We Prefer:
- Bachelor's Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field.
- Document layout experience using InDesign.
