Software Developer/Database Designer
with proven expertise in
.Net programming MVC, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Blazor
to join our team on-site in
Norfolk, VA . The ideal candidate is passionate about tackling technical challenges, thrives in a team environment, and can independently handle tasks when necessary.
Responsibilities of the Software Developer/Database Designer:
Provide subject matter expertise in software application and database design to support the development and maintenance of the SIPR NIODB, related applications, and data products. Maintain and support current programming languages (e.g., C#, JQuery, Javascript, JSON, Python) Assist in converting existing data elements to align with customer Database Design Description (DBDD) and Entity Relation Diagrams (ERDs) Support the maintenance, security, and documentation of both existing and newly developed software code. Assist in testing, verification, and validation of data products and data management applications. Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) and related documentation to support Fleet requirements and related IO capabilities. Utilize Azure DevOps to manage Kanban boards, repositories, testing, and pipelines in two-week sprints. Qualifications of the Software Developer/Database Designer:
5+ years of experience in software development, with a preference for experience in Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) development and SQL development/maintenance. 2+ years of experience in MS .NET Application development/maintenance. 2+ years of experience with XML, including the use of XML schemas and XSLT to support parsing and importing external data products into an Oracle RDBMS. Must hold a DOD 8570 CSWF certification: Security+ CE. Must be able to obtain an MS .NET Framework certification within 6 months. Active U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required
Compensation for the Software Developer/Database Designer:
- Pay Range: $150,000-$200,000 depending on experience
