Job Summary

The Audio Visual/Teleconference Technician will provide onsite support to a Federal Government Agency in Washington, D.C. This role supports audiovisual (AV) technology, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, as well as preparation and maintenance of relevant records.

Essential Duties:

  • Schedules users for audiovisual (AV) equipment
  • Sets up and calibrates equipment for use
  • Identifies causes for AV problems and partners with client to resolve the issues
  • Operates equipment as needed for various meetings and events
  • Provides instructions for the operation of equipment to non-AV employees
  • Delivers excellent customer support to AV users
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have experience with Crestron Flex, preferably in a Microsoft environment; Crestron Mercury; and Pexip VTC

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with end-users and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Work Environment:

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead waist level from floor), bending, frequent near-vision use for reading and computer use, and frequent fast-paced environment.
