Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary Group Creative Director to lead our creative team, inspire groundbreaking work, and drive strategic success for Saylor's clients. This role will oversee a team of Associate Creative Directors, providing guidance and mentorship while ensuring all creative output aligns with our agency's high standards. The ideal candidate is not only a creative powerhouse with a vision for social beyond TT, a passion and vision for attracting new brand clients, and a collaborative leader who excels at managing RFP processes and delivering winning pitches.

Location and Salary

This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $140,000-$180,000, depending on experience. We offer employees the flexibility to work from home Monday through Friday. We believe that allowing you to choose the environment where you work best will enhance your productivity and impact. There will be occasions when in-office presence, at either our Echo Park HQ or a client's office, is required based on the needs of specific accounts. We will do our best to accommodate scheduling and still provide you with your "flex days."

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Associate Creative Directors, ensuring their growth and development.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture across the creative team.
  • Collaborate with other department leads to align creative strategies with broader business goals.
  • Oversee the development and execution of creative concepts across various media, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Provide constructive feedback and approvals on creative work to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Drive innovation and ensure our work is at the forefront of creative marketing trends.
  • Lead the RFP process from ideation to delivery, ensuring compelling, tailored responses that win new business.
  • Work closely with strategy, account, and production teams to develop pitch concepts, presentations, and proposals.
  • Present creative strategies and pitches to prospective clients with confidence and charisma.
  • Act as a senior-level creative representative for key accounts, building strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering outstanding creative solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Partner with the Head of Production and other teams to manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
  • Contribute to agency growth by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and services.
  • Help double our brand business with strong vision and passion.
  • Lead the team to expand the way our clients think about social.
  • Bonus if you love or know the automotive or green energy space.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in creative roles within a marketing or advertising agency, with at least 3 years in a Creative Director or equivalent leadership position.
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and inspire teams of creative professionals.
  • Exceptional conceptual and executional skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience leading RFP processes and winning new business.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of commanding a room and selling ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and with clients.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving agency environment with diverse client needs.
