Join OAKBERRY as a Social Media Manager ABOUT THE ROLE: OAKBERRY is looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. As the Social Media Manager, you will lead all aspects of OAKBERRY’s social media to increase brand awareness, engagement, and community growth. This includes developing innovative content strategies, managing social media calendars, creating engaging content, and fostering brand love through meaningful online interactions. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, a strong creative vision, and excellent communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy Development : • Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy aligned with business goals. • Create and manage content calendars across all platforms, incorporating trending topics, always-on activities, product launches, and campaigns. • Analyze social media trends, competitor strategies, and audience behavior to inform campaign planning and innovation. • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign success and identify areas for improvement. Content Creation : • Conceptualize, produce, film, and edit short-form content tailored to each platform’s unique style (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn). • Maintain and enhance the brand’s tone, voice, and aesthetic across all platforms. • Design graphics, GIFs, and other multimedia content that effectively communicates the brand message. • Utilize in-app tools (e.g., TikTok, CapCut) for agile content creation and editing. • Attend photoshoots, brand events, and activations to capture and publish real-time social content. • Coordinate with marketing teams to amplify campaigns, partnerships, and promotional initiatives. Community Management : • Foster meaningful interactions by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and managing user-generated content. • Amplify positive customer experiences through thoughtful interactions and UGC curation. • Monitor and address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. • Build relationships with key community members and influencers to increase organic reach. Analytics and Reporting : • Track and analyze performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, conversions) across platforms. • Generate regular reports (monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific) on social media trends, performance, and audience growth. • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns and maximize ROI. Trend Awareness and Innovation : • Stay informed on social media and digital marketing trends to identify new opportunities for engagement and growth. • Proactively experiment with emerging platforms, tools, and content formats to maintain a competitive edge. • Monitor industry competitors and adjacent brands for best practices and inspiration. ABOUT YOU: Qualifications: • 5 years of professional experience in social media management, preferably in marketing, advertising, or creative. • Expertise in Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and other leading social platforms. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. • Strong background in photography and video production/editing. • Familiarity with in-app editing tools such as TikTok and CapCut. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights. • Up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and algorithms.
