Senior Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in interior design, a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects, and the ability to lead and mentor junior designers. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. Job Title: Senior Interior Designer Location: Cumming, GA Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (3 days in office/two days out) Project types : Municipal, Higher Education, Commercial (open to other project types) Firm Size : 25 Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage interior design projects from concept to completion. Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and detailed plans to clients. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project success. Oversee the selection of materials, furnishings, and finishes to meet project requirements and budget. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure innovative design solutions. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design specifications are met. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
