Kitchen Designer Job at J&B Fine Cabinetry in Saint Petersburg

J&B Fine Cabinetry, a well established high-end Kitchen Design Company, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer. We are looking for a positive, outgoing, sales and service-oriented individual who is self-motivated and highly organized with excellent multitasking and time management skills. The candidate will be responsible for working with clients to develop the proper Kitchen design, layout and product selections that meet their overall needs. Must be comfortable interacting with, consulting with and presenting to Homeowners, Interior Designers, and Builders.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting clients in showroom or at job site
• Design layouts with 2020, SketchUp (or equivalent) and CAD software
• In-home consultations and measures
• Travel in the Tampa Bay area
• Pricing and Ordering
• Interface with installers to ensure jobs are correctly installed

Job Requirements: Minimum 3 year Cabinetry Design Experience AutoCAD/Chief Architect, Sketch Up, 2020 or similar. Accurately and efficiently translate rough measures into working designs

• MUST be able to read blueprints
• MUST be able to create stunning and beautiful renderings to present to clients
  • A portfolio of your prior work will be requested during the interview process
• MUST be able to take complete and accurate measurements of a job site in order to prevent material ordering errors
• Proficient in E-Mail, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficient in CAD, Sketch Up, Chief Architect, 2020, or equivalent
• Excellent written, organizational and oral communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours (weekends and evenings when needed)
• Must be local to the St. Pete/Tampa area

Job Type: Full-time

Earnings: $65,000 - $100,000+ per year
