We are presently searching for a full-time Intermediate Experiential Graphic Designer in our Boston office. Under the supervision of a more senior Designer or Project Manager, the Intermediate Designer provides design support in all phases of the project process; concept and design development, construction documents and construction administration.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Design and develop project presentations
Creation of 2D plan and elevation views for presentations
Creation of 3D renders for presentations
Conceptual image research
Content creation
Creation of high-resolution production ready files
Quality assurance and site visits
Collecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews; provide documentation support
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Graphics, Industrial Design or Interior Design, or equivalent experience
2-3 years’ experience with 3D/2D graphics, signage, digital printing
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Intermediate knowledge of the commercial interior architecture and/or design industry
Knowledge of graphic working drawings and procedures
Demonstrated competency in all phases of environmental graphics
Ability to coordinate custom solutions with fabricator and installer
Intermediate understanding of branding concepts and the potential for their application to, relationship with and integration into the built environment
Intermediate sketching and rendering skills
Intermediate skilled visual sense and understanding of typography, composition, multiple media platforms, legibility, standards development, documentation, fabrication and implementation
Intermediate MS Office and Adobe PDF application skills
Sound Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign skills
Knowledge of video editing, interactive design, industrial design and 3D design/visualization and software (Autodesk 3dsmax, Vray) will be a plus.
Intermediate verbal, graphic and written communication skills.
