Location: Stanford, CA 94305

Duration: 10 Months (Potential to Extension/Hire)

Work Shift: Day

Pay Rate Range: $48/hr.- $52/hr. on w2

Job Description:

The Graphic Designer will assist in the development and execution of visual communication projects, working under the supervision of the Creative Director and Senior Designer. The role involves basic graphic design tasks across various projects such as digital signage, storytelling visuals, social media projects, iconography, logo creation, image resizing, and more, following provided art direction and brand guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform basic graphic design tasks under the guidance of the Creative Director and Senior Designer
• Create slide templates, infographics, icons, logos, and resize images for web, social, and print
• Format PDFs for accessibility and compile visual elements for design assignments
• Support research and school stories through art and photography options for social media posts
• Assist in scheduling photo shoots and uploading photos to the content management system
• Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and technology advancements to enhance design services

Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic design problem-solving skills
• Experience in graphic design
• Strong understanding of typography principles
• Ability to translate design concepts into finished products
• Organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to work in a team

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience (minimum 4 years)

• Part-time role (average 20 hours per week) with some availability during standard business hours and optional hybrid or remote work
