Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join their team. The marketing coordinator will provide assistance with key marketing and business development activities in Minneapolis and assist with other firm-wide activities. The position offers an excellent opportunity to learn many facets of legal marketing.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists with events including, but not limited to, logistics, catering, and on-site event needs, building/coordinating invitation lists and managing RSVPs.
- Assists the director/team with (1) sponsorship support including processing invoices, providing marketing materials/visual assets, and maintaining a timeline of upcoming events and (2) sponsorship fulfillment including the registration process, ad submissions and table attendees.
- Assists with completing budget-related activities in a timely manner, including invoice follow-up and processing, credit card receipt submission and reconciliation of statements, and updating/tracking items.
- Provides support for RFP and pitch materials to the Minneapolis market, including gathering information.
- Professional sporting, concert, and theatre venues: Coordinates ticket usage; manages catering; ensures communication is delivered to all relevant parties; and collaborates with facility staff at venues.
- Assists with facilitating and purchasing additional ticketing needs.
- Assists with website content including drafting news notes and proofing content.
- Manages external continuing legal education (CLE) process for Minnesota and other markets.
- Manages logistics of new attorney photo shoots.
- Assists with other requests as needed.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or related field (strongly preferred).
- Recent college graduate or 1+ years law firm or professional services experience (preferred).
- Strong understanding of web-based platforms, such as a content management system, as well as basic HTML knowledge.
- Excellent computer skills – high proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Superior communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to work.
