Role: UXR Beyond Connectivity Research Team

Location: Alpharetta, GA

About the role:

As a UX Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's family products. You will be fully integrated into cross-functional squads, collaborating closely with Experience Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to ensure that our products are designed to meet the evolving needs of families.

What you will be doing:
  • Execute research activities: Plan and conduct user research using a variety of methods (e.g., usability testing, user interviews, surveys, A/B testing) to gather insights at all stages of product development.
  • Develop research materials: Create research plans, discussion guides, and screening criteria to ensure high-quality data collection.
  • Moderate research sessions: Lead user interviews and other research activities, ensuring a comfortable and productive environment for participants.
  • Analyze and synthesize findings: Uncover actionable insights from research data and communicate them effectively to stakeholders through compelling storytelling.
  • Champion the user: Advocate for user needs and ensure that user-centered design principles are integrated throughout the product development process.
What you need to be great in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience: A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience is required.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience: You should have at least four years of experience conducting user research.
  • Expertise in research methods: You should be proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and know how to choose the right approach for each project.
  • Self-starter: You should be a proactive and independent worker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills: You should have strong oral and written communication skills to effectively share research findings and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree: An advanced degree in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, Sociology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with family products: Experience conducting research on digital family products or experiences is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills: The ability to analyze and synthesize complex data from multiple sources is preferred.
  • Agile experience: Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $150,000.00 to $165,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER's total compensation package.
