Job Summary
As a mid-level
UI/UX Designer
at Consumer Cellular, you will be responsible for creating user-centric designs that meet business needs and user feedback. You will work closely with cross functional teams such as product managers and engineers to develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that are intuitive and visually appealing.
In addition to your design responsibilities, you may also be responsible for conducting user research and usability testing to ensure that our products meet the needs of our users. You will stay up-to-date with design trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our products are always at the forefront of design innovation.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5-10 years of UI/UX experience and a strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skills. You should have experience working with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite. You should also have experience working with cross-functional teams and be able to communicate your design decisions effectively.
You should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and be able to apply them to your work.
Responsibilities
Understanding business needs and user feedback to create user-centric designs. Conducting stakeholder interviews to understand business goals. Conducting user research to understand user needs. Creating personas based on user research. Creating user journeys based on personas. Developing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. Creating low-fidelity wireframes to explore design concepts. Creating high-fidelity wireframes to communicate design concepts. Creating interactive prototypes to test design concepts. Creating pixel-perfect mockups for development handoff. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers and engineers. Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives. Communicating design decisions effectively to cross-functional teams. Incorporating feedback from cross-functional teams into designs. Conducting user research and usability testing. Creating usability test plans based on research questions. Conducting usability tests with users. Analyzing usability test results and making design recommendations based on findings. Staying up-to-date with design trends and emerging technologies. Attending industry conferences and events. Reading industry publications and blogs.
